Stuy JV swept the 2-game series from Graphics on Thursday, 13-1 at Pier 40 behind Ben Zenker’s first game-started (7 K’s 0 R 2 H 1 BB) and a full team effort. Scoring 3 runs apiece were Owen Potter (3-for-3, 3 rbi), Franklin Liou (1-1, HBP 2 BB, 5 SBs) and Isaac Chasen — part of an offense that had 7 hits, 7 walks and ran wild with 17 bases in 5 innings including 3 by Brandon and Cooper. (Owen, Franklin and Cooper stole home.) Our defense was solid, and killed every late chance for them to rally back.
