Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our upcoming special events.

A BIG thank you to all the Friends of Stuyvesant Baseball families, alumni, and coaches who supported our 7th Annual Home Runs for Hitmen Fundraiser on May 12th! It was a gorgeous day and it was great to see so many of you!

Don’t forget “Stuyvesant Night” at Staten Island Yankee Stadium on July 7, 2012, 7:00 p.m. See the S.I. Yankees vs Williamsport Crosscutters (Tickets are $20, and include all-you-can-eat food, a S.I. Yankees Cap, a commemorative program, “Welcome Stuyvesant” on the scoreboard, and post-game fireworks).

Please return the Ticket Order Forms for both the Luncheon AND the July 7 S.I. Yankees Game by May 11 to Coach Carlesi, Coach Treyman, Coach Hahn or to FSB Co-Treasurers Ken Michaels or Carlos Morales no later than May 11th.

Wow! Nolan Becker(’09) strikes out 16 in 7 innings.

Game 2 was almost solely about Becker. The junior left-hander struck out the side twice and had at least two strikeouts in in six of his seven innings. Of his 16 strikeouts, 10 were swinging strikeouts and six caught the batters looking.

Kyle Yee threw a no-hitter, struck out seven and walked one as Stuyvesant topped Environmental Studies, 4-1, in Manhattan A West baseball. Chris Woo and Timothy Diep each had RBIs for the Hitmen (2-0). Environmental Studies falls to 0-2.
