Kempinas silences Grand Street Campus bats in 4-2 Victory for the Peglegs.

Mantas Kempinas was dominant on the bump today striking out 10, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs and walking 2 over 6 innings. Jasper Yu- Dawidowicz came in and got the final 3 outs to secure the win.
On the offensive side, Axel Riess started things off in the first inning with and RBI single. The Peglegs would score again in the bottom of the fifth and Axel Riess and Andrew Choi both walked forcing in the final two runs. Also, contributing on the offensive side were Jacob Mui, Charlie Winer, Jared Virasami and Adrian Veto all added hits on the day.
After the game, the coaching staff was so proud of these boys for giving 100% effort for the entire game. To take down such a juggernaut in NYC baseball these boys should hold their heads up high.

Next league game is Monday vs Grand Street at Parade Grounds #2 at 4pm.
