The Peglegs made their presence felt early in a four run first inning that saw them plate four runs before they made their first out thanks to hits by Jeremy Lee, Ethan Kirscher and Levine. That turned out to be all Stuy needed to beat the Pioneers. Levine through a fourth straight complete game, going five innings allowing three hits and striking out 11. Kirschner, Adam Lucey and Paul Liou each had long doubles to help Stuy to victory. This win brings the Peglegs to 9-2 on the season with a rematch with Newtown Thursday afternoon on the road.
