Wed. April 28 2021 at Parade Ground #2 Wrath Hitmen (2) vs. Brooklyn Knights (3) April 28, 2021 123456789RHE Hitmen 0000200260 Knights 101001341 Wrath Hitmen suffered their second loss of the season to the Brooklyn Knights 3-2. The Hitmen couldn’t capitalize with two runners on base in the first inning after a hit by Luca Bielski. Then the powerful top of the order hitters for the Knights slammed several balls deep into the outfield but only scored one. The Hitmen kept the game close with solid defense, committing no errors, and highlighted by one of the best throws of the season by Jeremy Lee in center field to nail the runner at the plate. Ethan Kirschner was stout on the mound in five innings, giving up 2 runs and five hits and only one walk. Isaac Lageschulte showed fine poise, pitching out of jams in relief, letting up one run with four strikeouts and three walks. Sam Levine continued his hot streak with two hits. “Tough lost today,” Coach Carlesi said. “Great pitching by Ethan. Very good defense by Jeremy by throwing out a runner at the plate on a tag up. Jonathan Lee gave us a chance by hitting a two out single that tied the game. That was set up by a great bunt by Paul Liou and he beat it out. We left too many people in scoring position today and not getting the big hit.” #1 of 39 #2 of 39 #3 of 39 #4 of 39 #5 of 39 #6 of 39 #7 of 39 #8 of 39 #9 of 39 #10 of 39 #11 of 39 #12 of 39 #13 of 39 #14 of 39 #15 of 39 #16 of 39 #17 of 39 #18 of 39 #19 of 39 #20 of 39 #21 of 39 #22 of 39 #23 of 39 #24 of 39 #25 of 39 #26 of 39 #27 of 39 #28 of 39 #29 of 39 #30 of 39 #31 of 39 #32 of 39 #33 of 39 #34 of 39 #35 of 39 #36 of 39 #37 of 39 #38 of 39 #39 of 39
