The final score was 19-3. There are just too many stats to comment about. We went out doing what we said needed to be done and gained back a little stock we lost Friday. Bryant, 19-3 The Peglegs won big over William C. Bryant 19-3 on Monday. In the first inning, Stuyvesant got their offense started when Franklin Liou drew a walk, scoring one run. tallied eight runs in the second inning. Malcolm Hubbell, Jared Asch, Simon Carmody, Khyber Sen, Cooper Nissenbaum, and Max Onderdonk each had RBIs in the big inning. Asch earned the victory on the mound for Stuyvesant. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out two and walking zero. Sam Merrick and Hubbell entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. The Peglegs tallied 12 hits in the game. Asch, Carmody, Michael Gillow, and Jeremy Rubin each racked up multiple hits for Stuyvesant. Rubin, Gillow, Carmody, and Asch each collected two hits to lead Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity. Stuyvesant stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one.
