Owen Potter made his pitching debut for Stuy, 2.2 innings 7 strikeouts and 4 walks and 2 earned runs. Matthew Deutsch then came in for relief and kept us in the game throwing 3.1 innings with 1 walk and 1 strike and 0 runs. The Peglegs go into the break 2-1 in the division still in first place. [Adapted from GameChanger] West 50th Street Campus Bests Stuyvesant Varsity In Close Game Both teams were strong on the mound on Thursday, but West 50th street campus was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Stuyvesant on Thursday. Owen Potter started the game for Stuyvesant and recorded eight outs. Stuyvesant lost despite out-hitting West 50th street campus six to five. Potter took the loss for Stuyvesant. He surrendered two runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Jared Asch went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Peglegs.
