Ethan Kirschner toed the rubber for the Hitmen and shined with remarkable pitch location. He surrendered two runs on two hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out ten and walking one. Catchers Adam Lucey and Jordan Gray each threw out a baserunner, shutting down the opponent’s running game. But Eleanor Roosevelt’s hitting picked up in the final innings and a few costly plays handed them the game. Ben Harwayne threw two-thirds of an inning in relief.
