P I E R  4 0  U P D A T E

 IF WE BUILD IT, THEY WILL PLAY!

 

Friends of Stuyvesant Baseball, Inc. contracted with an Iowa designer of portable mounds to build a mound that meets all necessary PSAL standards and specifications.  Now the beautiful artificial turf field at PIER 40 can become home field for Stuyvesant Hitmen.

Community Leaders Back Mound!
Manhattan City Council Members Jessica Lappin, Alan Gerson (both Stuy Alum!), and Gail Brewer, (with the support of Speaker Christine Quinn) secured a $10,000 grant toward the design and construction of the portable mound for Pier 40.
